La Conscience is a poem from french writer Victor Hugo, from the collection La Légende des Siècles. It is based on the story of Cain's guilt after the murder of his brother Abel. I did a few images to explore the idea of an animation adaptation.
A few years ago I was exploring ideas on a short with two kids watching too much TV.
I had the idea of a comic on a story about ghost towns being portals to the beyond. I left the story on the side.
